 Marines
belong to one of the greatest fraternities in the world,
understanding loyalty, integrity, devotion and dedication
the way only Marines can know it. Even men of other
branches of the Armed Forces don't understand the ways of
Marines. As we leave the Corps these traits remain
deep within our hearts. As bikers we look for a
common bond within a club that we feel proud of
representing and a way of living that we standby - only
"The Few and The Proud" would understand the
bond we share as Marines. To keep our honor present
and still alive, what a better way to show our American
Pride than to fly "MARINES MC". The club
was developed for those who have an entrenched feeling of
Esprit De Corps, not just implied to the Corps, but as
Americans and especially as Bikers. We ride with
pride and we let it be known!"MARINES MC" was established in 1994. We are a National club that is rapidly expanding. National HQ and a local chapter is based in Antelope, CA, with chapters established elsewhere. Members within a metro are encouraged to start a chapter and members in outlying areas are encouraged to support metro chapters. We are proud of serving our country as Marines and hold on to the term "Once a marine - Always a marine". Our membership qualifications are simple; Retired - Honorably Discharged - Active Duty male Marines that ride American motorcycles! Marines did their prospecting in recruit training or OCS, therefore we base membership on the application and verification of service, but most importantly, integrity of personal character. Just because you can prove you were a Marine doesn't mean the club's for you, we retain the right to be selective on all members. We are riding on an established legacy that American Marines have developed over the past 200+ years, so we keep a positive image in the community. American bikes; Harley Davidson shut down all commercial production during WW1 and WW2 to support the government in their efforts to win these wars which we, the Marines were fighting. So in dedication to the support H-D gave us, we ride American to support them. Our Colors are the pride of the Corps, Scarlet & Gold. The top rocker says "MARINES" and the bottom rocker says "SEMPER FIDELIS" claiming no territory with the "Eagle, Globe and Anchor" as our center patch which we all have earned. Yes we wear an "MC" cube. We've traveled to many runs and rallies in the southwest and have got a lot of positive comments. We expect to continue to grow through out. Be proud of what and who you are, if there isn't a chapter of Marines in your area, start one. First to ride! |
